Johnathan Huie is a well-known social media influencer in the truck community, and is best known for his 2003 GMC Sierra Duramax that he has nicknamed “Snow Bunny”. Back in the day, forums were how people knew about other people’s vehicles, but now with social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook, people like Johnny are becoming popular, or “Instafamous”, for building badass trucks. Johnny’s Snow Bunny build caught fire and is now an Instagram icon. This is the truck that paved the way for him on his Instagram page which he has now grown to well over 200,000 followers, and this is his story…

“I picked up the old Snow Bunny almost 3 years for a parts truck. It had been totaled and was sitting in the owners back yard with the windows broken out and dogs were sleeping in it. I eventually decided to rebuild it and use it as a work truck hauling logs for 6 months. I started posting pictures of the truck right after I got it rolling and working, but there was a lot I wanted to do to it. I would post pictures of the truck and I started getting posted by truck pages, and people started following me wanting to see what I was going to do to it next. I don’t have a shop and I’ve done all the work on it myself. Over the past 3 years it’s slowly changed, and now today, we have the current Snow Bunny. I never would have imaged when I picked up the truck it would look the way it does today, or that over 200k people would follow me and want to see pictures of it. Every time I drive the truck now I get stopped by people asking about it, or by people that follow me and just want to talk truck stuff. Overall the truck wouldn’t be where it is today without God opening doors for me, there’s been so many little things that have happened, and I want to give Him all the honor. So that’s about it, I have big plans in the future with different projects, but for now I’m just gonna keep doing my thing.”

Let’s take a look at what’s done to the truck that became an Instagram sensation in the truck community…
